Prof. Chen Guanhua came to China Ray

On February 14, we were honored to invite Professor Chen Guanhua, Chair of the Chemistry Department, University of Hong Kong, to our company for academic exchanges. Prof. Chen Guanhua made an academic report on Quantum Simulation of Photoelectric Materials and Devices.

       Professor Chen Guanhua is the Chair of the Chemistry Department of the University of Hong Kong and the coordinator of Theory, Modeling and Simulation of New Electronic Devices, which is a project in Areas of Excellence scheme. He is mainly engaged in theoretical chemistry and computational science, focusing on the numerical solution of the famous Schrodinger equation in quantum mechanics, thus discovering new materials and developing new systems. Professor Chen Guanhua studied at Fudan University in Shanghai and was a member of the 6th CUSPEA. He went to California Institute of Technology to study in 1986, and he received a doctorate in chemical physics in 1992. From 1992 to 1996, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at California Institute of Technology and Rochester University. Award for Outstanding Young Researchers of the University of Hong Kong in 2002.
